Biography

Cornelius was thought to born around 1840 in Indiana. As his mother, Mariah Farrington received his Civil War pension.^[1]

Cornelius was a Private with the 93rd Regiment, Company E in the Illinois Infantry.^[2] He was killed in the battle at Allatoona Ridge in Cobb county, Georgia^[3] on October 5, 1864 and was buried in the Section C, site 1835 in the Marietta National Cemetery at Marietta which is in Cobb County, Georgia. ^[4][5][6]
