Biography

William DeWolf is one of twins.

William Henry DeWolf was born on 14 May 1841 in Amherst, Nova Scotia, son of William Henry DeWolf (1809–1888) and Sarah Embree (Lusby) DeWolf (~1809–1881).[1][2]

William and Fanny Elizabeth Tilley were married on 21 October 1873 in New Brunswick.[3] Fanny was born on 15 February 1855 in Fredericton, York, New Brunswick. She was the daughter of Samuel Leonard Tilley and Julia Ann (Hanford) Tilley.

They had two daughters:

  1. Fanny Ethel DeWolf (1874-1875)
  2. Jessie May (DeWolf) Higginson (1874-1948)

William died on 3 October 1930 in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada, aged 89, and was interred there in the Chilliwack Cemeteries.[1][2]
