Father Enrique III, King of Castile and Leon b. 4 Oct 1379, d. 25 Dec 1406

Mother Katharine Plantagenet b. c 31 Mar 1373, d. 2 Jun 1418

Maria of Castile was born on 14 November 1401 at Segovia.1 She married Alfonso V 'the Magnanimous', King of Aragon, Sicily, Valencia, Mallorca, & Naples, son of Ferdinand I, King of Aragon & Sicily and Eleanor of Albuquerque, on 12 June 1415 at Valencia, Spain.1 Maria of Castile died on 7 September 1458 at Valencia, Spain, at age 56.[1]
