Biography

Thomas Holland (Thomas de Holand) 1st Duke of Surrey, 3rd Earl of Kent, 4th Baron Holland, was a son of Thomas Holland and Alice FitzAlan He was born about 1373 Upholland, Lancashire, England.

He married Joan de STAFFORD by license dated 20th October 1392 Marriage License

Thomas Holland, Duke of Surrey was a Governor of Ireland in 1399 [1]

He died about the 8th January 1400 Cirencester; executed for resisting Henry IV Lancaster and trying to restore Richard II.

He was buried in Cirencester Abbey, Gloucestershire, England. [2]
