Alice was daughter of Aubrey de Vere, 10th earl of Oxford, by Alice, daughter of John, Lord Fitzwalter.
She first married Sir Francis Court of Tytherley, Hants.
She secondly married Richard Fitz Lewis, with whom she had at least two sons, including Lewis Fitzlewis.
Alice died about 1431, and Richard re-married 1433.
Lewis John (or Johan) married (1st) shortly before 1 Jan. 1414 ALICE VERE (died about 1432) widow of Francis [de] Court, Knt. (died 11 Sept. 1413), and daughter of Aubrey de Vere, Knt., 10th Earl of Oxford, by Alice, daughter of John Fitz Walter, Knt., 2nd Lord FitzWalter. Lewis and Alice had five sons (surnamed both John and Fitz Lewis), Lewis, Henry, Knt., John, Philip, and Edmund, and one daughter, Margaret (1st of name). SIR LEWIS JOHN died (perhaps overseas) 27 October 1442. His widow, Anne, married (3rd) (as his 3rd wife) JOHN HOLAND, K.G., Duke of Exeter, Earl of Huntingdon and Ivry (died 5 August 1447). They had no issue.
