Biography

Peter de Vos was born in Colchester and married Ariaentgen Batten on 13 October 1646 in Leiden. His brother Abraham married 4 years later to Trijntgen Batten.[1] Pieter returned from England on 8 Oct 1657 and his brother and father in law vouched for him when he passed the gate of Leiden and became a citizen (poorter) [2]
