Biography
Elizabeth Jean was born in 1855; she was the daughter of Charles Dean and Jean Forbes.
The 18 year old seamstress married 23 year old Charles Henry Penny, who was farming at Glenalmond, in her parents homestead, Queensbury Farm, Aliwal North, on 18 May 1875. [1]
