Her maiden name has also been found as "Deem", Deen" and various other spellings.
The following news items were found in various issues of the "Patriot News" of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
August 9, 1905: "Mrs. Ella Lehman of Philadelphia, who spent the past few weeks as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. L. Lehman, 922 Grand street, left yesterday for a short visit to Cape May."
October 20, 1908: "Mrs. Ella D. Lehman, of the Woman's Hospital, Philadelphia, has been called to this city on account of the death of her mother."
July 15, 1909: "Mrs. Ella Lehman, a nurse at the Woman's Hospital in Philadelphia, is visiting relatives and friends is in the city."
August 31, 1909: "Mrs. Ella Lehman of Philadelphia, is spending some time with relatives in the city. She is at present visiting her sister, Mrs. Brank, of East State street."
Birthdate according to 1900 Census. She was not working and a widow with two children. Her mother lived with her and was also widowed.
