Bertram Frank Dean, his wife, and their two small children were Third Class Passengers aboard HMS Titanic. The ship sank in the Atlantic Ocean on the morning of 15 April 1912 after hitting an iceberg the previous evening. Bertram did not survive the sinking. His wife and children survived and returned to England.
Bertram and his family were emigrating to Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas, for a job. They had family and friends in the city who were setting them up with a residence and a business to manage.
Bertram Frank Dean was born in 1886.[1]
In 1910, Bertram married Eva Georgetta Light in Wandsworth, London, England.[2]
Bertram passed away in April 1912 from the sinking of the Titanic. His body, if recovered, was never formally identified.
