James Deane, son of Walter and Eleanor Deane, was born 1648; died in Plainfield, Connecticut 29 May 1725; m. by 1674 Sarah Tisdale (dtr of John Sr. of Taunton.) James was of Taunton in 1677, at which time he and the four sons of John Tisdale decd. made an agreement on Tisdale's estate.[1]
