Rachel Dean or Deans, daughter of John and Rachel, was born 5 February 1746/7 in Windham, Connecticut.[1]
The marriage register for her parents used the name Dean, confirming Dean to be the correct last name at birth.

In keeping with Wikitree guidelines on Last name at birth, I am changing Rachel's last name to Dean (prior to merging). Reference the Barbour collection which gives alternate spellings of Dean or Deans and the marriage record of John Dean and Rachel Bond as seen in the Barbour collection, and the church records index and Baileys Early Connecticut Marriages
