Thomas Barker Dean, son of Barker Dean & Catherine, was born on 29 March 1795 and baptised on 12 April 1795 in Standishgate Saint Pauls Chapel Independent, Wigan, Lancashire, England.^[1]

On 19 Aug 1823, Thomas Barker Dean, 28, bachelor and bookkeeper of Preston, obtained a license to marry Alice Marginson, 24, spinster of Preston. His bondsman was Richard Warwick of Preston, stable keeper. ^[2]
