Simeon was born about 1923. He is the son of Thomas Dean and Elizabeth Dalton. He passed away in 2016.

DEAN, Simeon — Born: February 16th, 1924. Passed on: February 19th, 2016.
Passed peacefully away on February 19, 2016, Simeon Dean of North West Brook, Trinity Bay and a former resident of Southport, Trinity Bay, at the age of 92 years. Predeceased by his wife Annie on February 26, 2000, and by his parents Thomas and Jessie (Dalton) Dean; brothers Alexander, Arthur, Charles, and infant brother William James; sisters Grace, Rose Pardy, Amelia Pelly, and infant sister Mary Caroline. Leaving to mourn with many cherished memories are daughters Sandra (Everett) Soper, Rose Viola (Gerald) Andrews; sons Eli (Marion), Leslie (Grace), Melvin (Ivy), Terry and Robert (Angie); fourteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchild. He also leaves to mourn a large circle of extended family members and friends. Rested at Emmanuel United Church, North West Brook, with funeral service Monday, February 22, at 2 p.m. officiated by Rev. Gneid Walsh. Interment at Emmanuel United Church cemetery. Donations to his memory may be made to the Emmanuel United Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements entrusted to Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville, NL.
