Biography
Mary was born in 1893. She was the daughter of William Hastie Dean and Elizabeth Mary Frost.
She married John Henry Walden in 1913.
They had at least four children:
- Mavis Elizabeth (b. 1913)
- Cecil John (b. 1914)
- Gladys Marian (b. 1916)
- Emily May (b. 1917)
Sadly her husband John was accidentally killed in 1922 at the age of 33.
She passed away in 1977.

Cremation date 10 December 1997 - Ashes burial 25 February 2000, Purewa Cemetery, Auckland, New Zealand. Location: Block V Row 5 Plot 29[1]
