DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Winnie by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Winnie:

Hello Bob,

Regarding the reference to a bot: If a Pending Merge is ignored for over 30 days — if the Profile Managers do not complete the merge, reject it, or set the profiles as Unmerged Matches within a month — it will be cleared for any Wiki Genealogist (any signer of the Honor Code) to complete, reject, match, or remove it as they deem appropriate. See Unanswered Merge Proposals for more merging information.

Regarding "Sister of ..." Both profiles have the same father listed and only Debeck-5 has a mother listed.

I hope this helps.

Karen

Winnie-40 and Debeck-5 appear to represent the same person because: These two are duplicate profiles. Please merge. Winnie is the Nickname for Winifred. Merge into Debeck.

I see this merge occurred by virtue of a "bot". Is that a good thing?

I agree my grandmother was called Winnie by friends, etc. What is this reference on both Debeck-44 and Debeck -5? {{Sister of Violet Winifred (Debeck) Tait [half] [add sibling]}}

That was someone else's profile of Winnie. I suspect that when they merged the two profiles, they both went through. I have removed the one asCap Debeck's daughter.
