Biography
John Debenham was born in about 1811 in Sibton, Suffolk.
John was a gentleman, according to his burial record.
John married Elizabeth Lambert on 16 Aug 1836 at St Peter & St Paul Church, Godalming (Anglican). Before their marriage, John lived in Godalming, Elizabeth lived in Shalford. Neither had been married before; the witnesses were John Lambert and M. Lambert.
John died 6 Apr 1884, aged 73, at his home in Godalming High Street. He was buried on the 10th in Nightingale Cemetery, Godalming, in the unconsecrated section.
