Jacob was a son of Jacob Decker, b. 1657 and Beletje Jans Bastiaansse Kortreght , b. 1657. He was born at Marbletown (Ulster County), New York in 1684.[1]
Jacob Jacobse Decker, born Marbletown, and Geesie Van Etten, born Hurley, registered banns of marriage on 25 November 1704 in the Kingston Refomred Dutch Chure. The date of their marriage is not recorded.[2]

Kenneth, did you know that the Kingston church records are readily available online, for free, with far more information than FamilySearch has? I found the baptism record for that son by looking in the baptism records for 17 November 1706, and there he was! See https://archive.org/details/baptismalmarriag00king/page/78
Decker-487 and Decker-112 appear to represent the same person because: Phillip, Can we merge these Decker profiles to reduce the number of Jacobs. The difference between them seems to be the date of birth...at this point I don't care whether it's 1680 or 1684...I have found no evidence to support either...your choice.
Sorry I started trying to clean up some his relatives...what a mess these Deckers are. Stopped reading the Decker family myths and am trying to do clean up working with official documentation...church, probate, etc. Family genealogies seem to conflict...
