Kenneth B. Decker, 68, of Penna. Furnace, died Wednesday, July 10, 2002, at home. He was born May 25, 1934, in Commodore, a son of Blair and Edna Decker. Mr Decker was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Local Union 1333, and the Mosquito Creek Sportsman's Association. Mr. Decker retired in 1995 from G. M. McCrossin, Inc., where he had been a superintendent for more than 30 years. He was of the Protestant faith. An avid hunter and outdoorsman, he enjoyed many weekends at the Spike Horn Hunting Camp with family and friends. After Mr. Decker's retirement, he and his wife traveled extensively across the United States with their friends. He is survived by hiss wife, the former Beatice A. Trout, whom he married Aug. 29, 1954; two sons: Kenneth and his wife Gwenn; and Mark and his wife Janet, all of Port Matilda;; two daughters: Deborah Young and her husband Kent of Camp Hill, and Patricia Lowe and her husband James of Aptos, Calif.; four grandchildren; and a brother, Carl, of Commodore. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Ronald; and a sister, Eleanor Querry. [1]
