Else Decker was born on April 6, 1810 in Shawangunk, Ulster County, New York, United States. She was baptized at the Reformed Dutch Church in Shawangunk, the daughter of Johannes Cornelius Decker and Sarah Depuy.[1]
She married Matthew Jansen on October 30, 1834 in Shawangunk.[2] They had one child.
Egbert Jansen was born on June 5, 1840 in Shawangunk; baptized on March 1, 1841 at the Dutch Reformed Church in Shawangunk; died on April 16, 1841.[3]
Elsie passed away at an age of sixty on March 28, 1871. She is buried in the Bruynswick Rural Cemetery in Wallkill, Ulster County, New York.[4]
