Biography

William, son of William and Elizabeth Dee of Avening. He was baptised on June 5 1803.

William Dee, had 2 marriages. His first was to Charity nee Holbrow in 1824 in Avening. One known son was born in his first marriage, Joseph in 1824. After William's death Joseph was living with David Holbrow, Charity's brother.

His second was to Maria Webley, spinster. 1 They married in 1832 at the parish of St Michael in the City.

William Dee worked as a Stone Mason in the town of Avening.

William died on December 20, 1834 leaving his estate to his 2 sons, Joseph and Edward Dee, including land he'd purchased from his brother Thomas.

William predeceased his father who died in 1843.

William Dee's Will was proved on 14 July 1835 and Maria was to manage his Estate until his son Joseph attained the age of 21 years.^[1]
