Biography
George Dee was born on January 6, 1771, in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. He was the son of Mark Davol and Mehitable Stannard. He married Mehitable Chittenden in 1791 in his hometown. They had at least three children during their marriage. He died on August 11, 1846, in Madison, Connecticut, having lived a long life of 75 years, and was buried there.
