Biography
Nicknme "Lehr" per Honeyman & McDaniel (1998). DOB 6 Oct 1834 inscribed on headstone, 6 Oct 1833 per Honeyman. Fourteen children ID'ed by Honeyman.
Leah was "educated in German and did not learn English until [her] children started ... school and in turn taught their parents. ... During Lehr's last illness she reverted to speaking ony in Pennsyvania Dutch, the language of her youth." (Honeyman)
