Research Notes
No marriage record has been found for Mary in Ireland. There was a Mary Delaney who married Jeremiah Sullivan,[5] but a view of the actual registry entry reveals her father was not Patrick. DNA matches show that she migrated to Australia and married John O'Connor, but not necessarily in that order. In fact, there are baptismal records for children of the couple starting in Jan 1862 and records of their emigration to Australia in 1890.
