Biography

Michael was born in 1885. He was the son of Thomas Delaney and Mary Bannan. He was born in Dourath.^[1]

He married Elizabeth Finnigan,(b. 14 Sept 1887 - d. 21 Sept 1961) on 23 November 1922 at the Roman Church, Callan in County Kilkenny. She was the daughter of Patrick Finnigan. and Elizabeth Walsh. Witnesses Francis Harrison, Margaret Walsh. ^[2]

Emigrated to America on 19 April 1927 with his wife Elizabeth and two children, Mary aged 3 years and Elizabeth aged 1 years on board the ship "Celtic" . ^[3] Another child Thomas Francis was born on 17 August 1927 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.^[4]
