Rhoda was born in 1760 at North Yarmouth, Maine, the daughter of Ezekiel and Martha (Chandler) Delano who were married there in 1755[1], Rhoda was descended from Mayflower passengers John Alden, Priscilla Mullins, Myles Standish, Henry Samson and Edward Doty[2].
Rhoda and Amaziah recorded their intentions to marry at North Yarmouth on 30 April 1785 and were married there 1 July 1785[3].
She passed away sometime between 1807 and 1809 when Amaziah married for a second time to Jedidah Bumpus on 19 October 1809.
