Biography
Lydia was born probably in Duxbury, Massachusetts, about March 1680, from the data on her gravestone.[1] According to the Mayflower Society, she was the daughter of John and Mary (Weston) Delano.[2]
Lydia Delano married Josiah Soule, May 25, 1704, in Duxbury, Plymouth, Massachusetts.[3]
Lydia Soule died on 23 November 1763 a. 83 y. 8 m, in Duxbury, Plymouth County, Massachusetts[3]. Her gravestone at Myles Standish Burying Ground, Duxbury, Plymouth County, Massashusetts, says she died on the 24th[1]

I'm pretty sure you are correct. I don't have access to the Descendants Book at present but everything I find collaborates. I think there was confusion since Lidia's father and uncle were both named John (uncle was Lt. Jonathan Delano). Great catch.
