Biography

Cecil Rhodes Delbridge was born 20 June 1893 in Rose Park, South Australia. He was the son of Pearce Delbridge and Jessie Rhodes. ^[1]

He married Marie Kelly on 6 April 1923 at St Andrews Church, Walkerville. ^[2]

Cecil passed away age 60 on 15 July 1953 in Eastwood, South Australia ^[3] and was buried in Centennial Park Cemetery. ^[4]

Mr. C. R. Delbridge Dies
Mr. Cecil Rhodes Delbridge, of Park terrace, Eastwood, SA manager of Henry Berry & Co. Ltd., Adelaide yesterday. He was 60. He succeeded his father, the late Mr. Pearce Delbridge, in the position, and between them they managed the company in Adelaide for 70 years. Mr Cecil Delbridge who was manager for 20 years, was employed by the company for over 40 years. He was a member of the Rotary Club and the Commonwealth Club. Mr Delbridge has left a widow and three daughters. ^[5]
