Biography

Minitree was born in 1861. He was the son of Eli Delph and Charity Jones. ^[1]

He married Sue B Dickinson in 1883. ^[2]

Their son Horace was born in 1884. ^[3]

Their daughter Sue was born in 1888. ^[4]

His first wife died in 1888.

He married Alice Jones in 1889. ^[5]

Son H. C. born in 1894. ^[6] This must be Hennie C from 1900 census.

Son D McKinly born in 1896. ^[7] This must be Flint M from 1900 census.

In 1900 they were living in Virginia with three sons: Hennie C, Flint M, and Sidney C. ^[8]

Son Harris, from his first marriage married, in 1902. ^[9]

In 1910 they were living in Oregon. At this time they had the following children living with them: Herman, Flint, Sidney, Reta, Ida, and Dena. ^[10]

Son Elie Ray born in 1910. ^[11]

In 1920 M J and his 18 year old daughter were living together in Oregon. ^[12] Not sure why his wife wasn't on this census.

In 1930 M J, his wife Alice, three sons and a daughter-in-law were living together in Oregon. ^[13]

In 1940 Minitru, Alice and their youngest son Robert L were living in Oregon. ^[14]

He passed away in 1954. ^[15]

He was buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, Lane County, Oregon. ^[16]
