Biography

Curtis Stringfellow Dempsey, son of Lazarus Dempsey and Mary Jones, was born about 1812 in North Carolina, USA.

He married Cynthia.

He was a farmer when he and Cynthia appeared on the census of 27 Aug. 1850 at Cass County, Georgia.[1]

He was a farm hand when he and Cynthia appeared on the census of 9 Aug. 1870 at Acworth, Cobb County, Georgia.[2] He was a farmer when he and Cynthia appeared on the census of 7 June 1880 at Cartersville, Bartow County, Georgia.[3]

Curtis died sometime after the 1880 census probably in Georgia.
