Biography
- Bessie was born in 1856. She was the dau of John Dench and Emma Worden. She was baptised with her brother John on January 8 of that year. Her father was a blacksmith at the time of the baptism[1][2].
Marriage
- Edward Nankivell married Elizabeth Jane Dench on 14 Jun 1879 in Hindmarsh, South Australia, Australia[3].
- Bessie married her first cousin. Edward Nankivell (1857-1928) and Elizabeth Jane Dench (1856-1925) are both descendants of Mary (Glasson) Dench (1796-1863) (1796-1863).
Death
- She passed away on 24 Oct 1925, as a result of an a motor accident, in Maitland, South Australia, Australia[4].
- NANKIVELL.—On the 24th October, result of motor accident, Elizabeth, dearly loved wife of Edward Nankivell, of 112, Swaine-avenue, Toorak (late of Coobowie), aged 68 years and 6 months.[5].
