Biography

Ann Denison was the fourth child of Mary Avery & William Denison.

She was Christened 2 Dec 1710.

She married Nov. 9, 1720, at Stonington, Connecticut, John Denison, as his first wife. They had a daughter Ann who was born & died in 1721.

This particular Ann Denison drowned in a well, 15 Sep 1721, at Stonington. Her grave is in Denison Burying Ground, Mystic, New London County, Connecticut, USA ^[1]. The inscription on her tombstone reads In Memory of Ann ye wife of John Denison died Sept. ye 15th, 1721 in her 17th Year of her age. From this we garner that her birth year was about 1704 or '05.
