DENISON, GARNET WOLSELEY; son of Col. George T. Denison ('46-'55), Toronto; Brompton Barracks, Chatham, England; Royal Engineers, Lt-Col; E. September '87, from Private School, Toronto; aged 11; L. Easter '94; Graduated Royal Military College of Canada (Head) '98; Royal Engineers, 2nd Lt., '98; Lt., '01; Kano-Sokoto Campaign, Northern Nigeria, (Medal with clasp) '03; served in Central Africa, Nigeria, Somaliland, and India; Capt. '07; African General Service Medal; Delhi Durbar Medal, 1911; Egypt, September, 1914; Gallipoli, May, 1915; wounded at Gallipoli; France, June, 1916; DSO, June 3, 1916; Despatches twice, 1916; retired from France at the end of the war.^[1]

He married Agnes Nora J. Keating in 1906 in England.^[2]

He died in 1967.^[3]
