Many years ago, I visited the Library of the Society of Genealogists in London. There I remember looking at the Retford records for Denmans, and it indicated the line "daughtered out." So, this John was not from there, even though the Denman Family History claims so. For an evaluation of this work, see the Boston Transcipt column from the time the book was published. It was not kind, implying that the author had been "taken" by the English researcher she had hired.
This week's connection theme is the Puritan Great Migration.
