Charles was born in 1856 in Fremantle, Western Australia.^[1] He was the son of John Denman and Margaret Wall.

Charles died on 19 June 1943 in Leederville.^[2]

DENMAN-The Friends of the late Mr Charles Denman, of Glendalough, Leeder vile, are respectfully invited to follow his remains to the place of interment, the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Karrakatta. The Funeral is appolnted to leave Glen dalough, Leedervile, at 9.30 o'clock THIS (Monday)MORNING, arriving at the Cemetery at 9.50 o'clock. Friends wishing to attend the Funeral may pro ceed by the 9.25 o'clock train leaving Perth.^[3]
