Martha was the daughter of John Denham and Mary Gano. 
She was the eldest of three daughters and was probably born in Newtown, New York, from a reading of the source material referenced. They also had four sons, born in 1700, 1702, 1704 and 1706/7. Since John Denham died in 1713, Mary was born before 1713.
She married John Cory, son of in 1733. The family moved first to Elizabethtown, New Jersey, but soon moved on to Westfield. He was one of the elders of the Presbyterian church there. He and Martha are both buried in the churchyard there.
