Sarah Maria Dennis was born 2nd January 1868 in Overstrand, Norfolk, England & baptised there 8th March 1868, the daughter of William Dennis & Sarah Shepherd.[1][2]
Sarah Maria Dennis, age 21, spinster, of Overstrand, (daughter of William Dennis, Laborer, deceased) & Harry Slapp, age 21, Bachelor, Bricklayer, of Overstrand, (son of Matthew Slapp, Sawyer, deceased) were married 30th November 1889 in the Parish Church of Overstrand, Norfolk, England according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church after Banns by Forster G. Simpson, Rector. Harry & Sarah both signed. Witnesses were Walter Steward & Jane Johnson.[3][4]
