Biography

Heman Dennis was born July 7, 1807, at Rockville, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia. He was the son of Captain Amos Dennis I and Mary McGray.^[1][2]

About 1828, Heman married Lydia Crosby, the daughter of Edmund Crosby and Lydia Ring. They had eleven children:^[3][4][5][6]

Heman passed away in 1883 and was buried at the Chebogue Cemetery in Rockville, Yarmouth County.^[11]
