Biography
Margaret Dennis, daughter of Sir Thomas Dennis and Elizabeth Donne, married George Kirkham.[1][2]
In the will of her mother Elizabeth Dennys, the will made on 26 May 1561 and proved on 02 Aug 1561, she was recorded as Margaret Kirkham, daughter of the Testatrix.[3] The will also referred to Besse Kirkham.
The Kirkham pedigree in the Visitations of Devon[4] noted that Margaret and George Kirkham had a daughter Elizabeth who died unmarried. Elizabeth appears to have died before her father, as his heir was his niece Margaret Kirkham, daughter of James Kirkham.[2]
