His father Shadrach was received on certificate at the Nine Partners monthly meeting from the Dartmouth monthly meeting on 19d 1mo 1776 [19 Jan 1776], along with Abial and children Hepsiba, Paul, Noah, Jonathan, and Wilbour.[1]
The family was noted as members of the Easton monthly meeting, residing at Saratoga (meaning the Saratoga Patent) circa 1778.[2] Present were Shadrach, Abial and children Hephzibah, Paul, Noah, Jonathan, and Walter.[2]
