Biography

George was born about 1904. He was the son of Emmett Dennis and Cora Roberson. He passed away in 1927.

Birth date

While his tombstone states the he was born on 28 NOV 1904, his father died more than a year prior to this. Based on the US Census of 1910 and 1920, he probably was born in 1903. My best guess at the moment is that he was born 28 NOV 1903, shortly after his father's death. His marriage certificate states that he was 21 on 30 NOV 1922, which would place his birthday most likely in 1901 which also seems wrong. - RFD

Middle Name

His tombstone states that his middle name was Robert, but several other records indicate that it was Roberson (Mother's maiden name). It is possible that the tombstone is incorrect, but I'm still looking for confirmation either way - RFD
