Ann was born in 1729. She was the daughter of Samuel Dennis and wife Ann.

She was married at Greenwich 12th November 1751 to Mark Sheppard of Cumberland County.

Research Notes

Craig wrote that John Shepard and Ann Dennis pass meeting 28 Oct 1751, which is clearly wrong, per her 12th November 1751 marriage record to MARK Sheppard, signed by her widowed mother Ann Dennis and several siblings.^[1].
