Genealogically Defined

Mary Ann was born about 1819 at Canterbury, Kent, England and baptised on the 10th April 1819 at St. Margaret, Canterbury, Kent, England, the daughter of Thomas Dennis and Alice Dennis of Beercart Lane[1].

On the 4th March 1838, Mary Ann married John Bowen, stone mason at The Superintendent Registrar's Office, Canterbury, Kent, England[2][3]

She passed away aged 72 years on the 29th May 1891[4] at Margate, Kent, England and was buried at St. John's Cemetery, Manston Road, Margate, Kent, England.
