Mary Ann Dennison was born in Loudoun County, Virginia.[1]
In 1823, Mary made purchases from the estate sale of Isaac Hatfield [2]
In 1850, forty-seven-year-old Mary A. Hatfield of Virginia lives with her husband, two children, and two other young men who are likely her nephew in Green Township, Hancock County, Indiana.[3]
After her husband's death, she married widower Joseph Barrett in Rush or Hancock Co, IN. Second marriage for both.
Her father's last will and testament names her and current husband Barrett (1861) to 1/7th of his estate.
Mary Ann died on July 7, 1878 in Hancock County, Indiana.[1]
Andrew Hatfield (wife: Mary Dennison), Edmund Roberts (wife: Sarah Dennison) and Michael Roberts (wife: Susan Dennison) moved from Cabell County, Virginia to Hancock County, Indiana, along with the Dennison sisters' father, Thomas Dennison, sometime around 1835.
