Birth: 25 Aug 251935 Vivian, Louisiana (raised in Caddo, LA)
Death: 22 Mar 2005 Rockwall, Texas (Lived in Mesquite, Tx most of her life)
Her passion was being a seamstress (dressmaker) making red aprons for El Fenix, local school drill teams uniforms, choir dresses, clothes as well as alterations for friends and family. Another passion was playing the piano. She was a dedicated mother and wife to all 3 of her children and her husband Thomas E. Stovall. In the early 1980's she traveled to the Palo Duro Canyon, near Amarillo, and absolutely adored the view. That was a memory she would never forget. Dana attended W. H. Adamson High School, Dallas, Texas, and worked at NMC (National Motor Club) in downtown Dallas, for several years.
She used to say she wanted on her gravestone "She had a heart as big as a hotel". It was true. She gave so much of herself in everything she did. She loved everybody she met! All of my friends called her "mom" and just loved her.

Hi Sally! I added the project box. It's ok to delete if you like; I left Category:Louisiana Families in the text (that's the category the project box adds), so even without the project box, the profile will be correctly categorized to the project. Cheers, Liz
