Sarah was born in 1827. She was the daughter of William Dent and Sarah Hinton. She died at the home of her daughter in Atlanta GA 9 February 1913.

Funeral Services Will Be Be Held at Residence 11 O'clock This Morning.

Mrs. Sarah Dent Meador, 55 years old died yesterday morning in consequence of injuries sustained Sunday February 9 when she suffered a fall fracturing her hip. The accident occurred at the home of her daughter Mrs. Fuller with whom Mrs. Meador was living.

The surviving children are Thomas D. D. Meador vice-president of the Lowry National National bank, Charles D. Meador city tax assessor, J. Frank Meador of the Meador-Cawthorn company and Robert Lee Meador who is is in the fertilizer business; Mrs. J . W. Goldsmith, Mrs. George P. Fuller and Mrs. Cliff R. Turner.

The grandchildren of Mrs. Meador are Mrs. Thomas Cawthorn, Mrs. Oscar Davis, Paul and Wycliffe Goldsmith, Lieutenant Robert Lowry Meador U. S. A., Thomas D. Meador Jr. , Will L. Meador, Charles Meador, Walter Meador, Miss Annie May Fuller, Miss Charlotte Meador, Miss Sarah Dent Meador, Fort Scott Meador ,C. D. Meador Jr., and Miss Julia Annelle Meador.

The great-grandchildren are Edward Cawthorn, Oscar G. Davis, John Meador, Marianne Meador, Paul Goldsmith, Jerry Goldsmith, Mary Meador Goldsmith, and Julia Dowry Meador.

Funeral services will be held this morning at 11 o'clock from the residence 64 East Seventeenth street and Interment will be in Oakland cemetery. Dr. A H. Gordon of the Ponce de Leon Avenue Baptist church will conduct the services and Mrs. Meador's grandsons will be the pallbearers.

Mrs. Meador was born in Franklin county in 1827. Her father was the late Colonel William B B Dent of Newnan who was a member of congress In the 50's. Her husband John T. Meador died ten years ago after the couple had lived happily together for for sixty years years. Mrs. Meador has been a Baptist all all her life and was a member of the Ponce de Leon Avenue congregation at the time of her death.
