Joesph was born in 1793. Apparently his mother was passing through Rothenhaus while on a pilgrimage and went into labor unexpectedly, hence is birth in this location that appears to be otherwise unassociated with the Dentlers. He was a master miller and became the proprietor of a guesthouse in Kienhaid in 1835. He was also the local magistrate of Kienhaid. He passed away in 1857.
