Lucinda was born in 1836. She was the daughter of Jefferson Denton and Rachael Robinson. She passed away after 1850.

Rachael as it is thought she was called was 36 years old and lived with her husband Jefferson Denton age 37 and their children Dellany 17, Margaret 15, Lucinda 14, Betsy 12, John 10, Samuel 7, Thomas 3 and Martha a baby. Jefferson was a farmer born in Tennessee.^[1]

Marriage

Lusinda Denton age 18 married Major Newton age 22 in Drew County, Arkansas on October 3, 1854.^[2].
