Biography

Thomas, son of John Denton and his wife Isabell Brome, married Jane, daughter of John Webbe of Cardiffe. [1]

Birth and Parents

John Denton and his wife Isabel were the parents of one son, Thomas, and two daughters, Anne and Alice. Isabel's first husband made his will in 1468, and it was proved in 1470, so Thomas would have been born after 1468, and probably after 1470.[2][3]

Marriage

Harvey's visitation states that he married Jane Webb,[4] but History of Parliament considers this to be a mistake.[5] His will was probated in the PCC, 1534.[6] He was a wealthy landowner, and two of his sons, John Denton and Thomas Denton became Members of Parliament.

Note: Caversfield was an enclave of Bucks. in Denton's time, though it is now in Oxfordshire.

Please add Isabel Denton-1322 as their daughter. Thomas and Jane's children are listed as Thomas, Isabell, John, and Jane: https://books.google.com/books?id=t_sUAAAAQAAJ&pg=PA229#v=onepage&q&f=false (pg 229)

Isabel(l) is listed as married to Edward Grevill (seems to be some disagreement whether it should be Grenville). From what I've gleaned, he was her first husband; William ap Walter was the second.
