Biography

One record shows that Maria Sophia Elisabetha Dentzer, the daughter of Nicolas Dentzer and his wife Barbara Catharina, was baptized at Birkenau, Hessen, Germany, on 2 Apr 1674.[1] An unsourced entry showed that she was baptized on 26 May 1671 at Birkenau.[2][3]

Her FindAGrave memorial shows that she was born on 26 May 1671 in Birkenau, Bergstraßener Kreis, Hessen, Germany. She is buried in the Saint Michaels Lutheran Churchyard, Germantown, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. [4] Her gravestone shows that she was born in 1671 and died in 1741,[5] however her FindAGrave memorial says she died on 23 Jan 1744.[4]

NOTE: A record shows that a Mary Elizabeth Hinkle died at Germantown, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on 23 Jan 1745 and is buried at the St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Germantown, at the age of 72.[6]
