Biography

Jacques Derouen was born on 12 June 1780 in St Martinville, Louisiana, New Spain, a son of Joseph Pierre (Drouin) Derouen (1736 - 1819) and Anne Genevieve (Hebert) Hébert (1747 - >1809).[1]

His known full and half siblings were:

He married Clemence Faustin on 9 October 1815.[3]

  2. Marguerite Delzenne Derouen (1821 - 1902)

Clemence died c.1828.

He married a third time, on 7 June 1830, to Euphrosine Legros.[4]

Jacques died sometime after 7 June 1830, possibly in New Iberia, then part of St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, USA.
